Michael O'Donoghue, the original head writer of Saturday Night Live, started my original paint by number collection and was a good friend who was famous for his aphorisms. When anyone would say to him, "You have a nice day!", Michael would respond straight-faced, "Don't tell me what to do!" Hence the title of this diptych.
